Traveling full-time might sound like a dream come true — and in many ways, it is. Since 2023, I’ve been to four continents, 14 countries, and countless cities, living a life of adventure and discovery. But behind the picturesque views and Instagram-worthy moments lies a much deeper truth, one that’s taught me not only about myself but also about running a business that aligns with my purpose and values.
As a brand and web designer working with female entrepreneurs in the wellness space, I’ve realized that my journey mirrors the entrepreneurial path in so many ways. There’s beauty and growth but also challenges that require resilience and self-awareness.
Holding Space for Dualities
This year has been a mix of highs and lows. I’ve explored breathtaking landscapes, experienced new cultures, and lived moments I’ll cherish forever. But I’ve also faced some of the hardest emotional and physical challenges of my life. Battling anxiety, coping with homesickness, and navigating loss have made me stronger, but they’ve also reminded me of the importance of holding space for conflicting emotions — joy and sadness, excitement, and exhaustion.
This duality reflects what many of my clients experience as entrepreneurs: the thrill of building something meaningful and the weight of self-doubt, setbacks, and uncertainty.
Gratitude and Connection
Despite the challenges, gratitude has been my anchor. Having someone by my side through this journey has been a blessing, as has the reminder of what truly matters — my family, my friends, and even my cat. These connections keep me grounded and remind me why I do what I do.
For the women I work with, connection is often at the heart of their businesses. Whether it’s creating a brand that resonates with their audience or designing a website that fosters trust and engagement, our work is about more than visuals. It’s about building relationships and sharing stories that inspire.
Lessons for Aspiring Travelers and Entrepreneurs
If you’re considering traveling full-time — or embarking on the journey of building your dream business — here’s my advice:
— Know Your “Why”: Your purpose will guide you through the toughest times. For me, it’s the desire to live fully and create a meaningful life while empowering others to do the same through intentional design.
— Embrace the Challenges: Growth often comes from discomfort. The hard days teach you resilience, and the moments of doubt lead to clarity.
— Cherish the Present: Whether you’re exploring a new country or launching a business, these are moments you’ll look back on with pride and nostalgia.
Designing Your Dream Life and Business
Traveling full-time has shown me that life is a constant balancing act. It’s about embracing imperfection, staying true to your vision, and finding beauty in every step of the journey.
As a designer, I bring this mindset into my work with female entrepreneurs in the wellness industry. Whether it’s creating a brand that reflects your unique story or a website that helps you connect with your audience, my mission is to help you design a life and business that feel aligned and authentic.
So, if you’re dreaming of big things, whether it’s traveling the world or launching your brand, take the leap. It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.
